Experiential Learning
Experiential learning activities are designed to require students to go beyond mastering basic skills and knowledge in the application of that material to problem solving challenges.
Opportunities to learn through service and other experiences that have a real-world impact are built into your History major. Examples of experiential learning projects include, but are not limited to:
- digital archive creation
- oral history collection
- mapping projects
- website creation
Internship and service learning opportunities can take several forms, including involvement with national, state, and local organizations.
